25 YEARS OF BLACKHAWK FOOTBALL
The Alconbury Blackhawks were founded in 2001 by a group of American football enthusiasts from the villages around Alconbury, Huntingdonshire. What began as a handful of players training in a local park has grown into one of the most respected clubs in the Northern Division.
The club's early years were defined by grit and determination. Playing borrowed kit on borrowed pitches, the founding members built something from nothing — a culture of hard work, community, and pride that still defines the Blackhawks today.
The 2010s brought sustained success on the field, with back-to-back division titles in 2014 and 2015, and a national semi-final appearance in 2018. The current squad is widely regarded as the most talented in the club's history, sitting top of the Northern Division heading into the final stretch of the 2026 season.
Off the field, the Blackhawks have invested heavily in youth development, community outreach, and facilities. Blackhawk Stadium — opened in 2012 — has become a genuine home ground, with a growing and passionate fanbase that turns out in force every home game.

Ray Holloway
Ray joined the Blackhawks in 2019 after a distinguished playing career and has transformed the squad into genuine title contenders. Known for his demanding standards and unwavering belief in his players.
